The Cape Cod National Seashore will accept comments until March 30 on the traditional cultural significance of the dune shacks of the Peaked Hill Bars Historic District, located in Provincetown and Truro.

The comments will be forwarded to researchers who are assessing whether the dune shacks are traditional cultural property, a National Register designation that could affect how they are managed.

Additional opportunities will be available for public comment as the park proceeds with planning regarding the dune shacks.
