Expressionist Geometric
Characteristics:
a. Rectangular and curvilinear forms arranged usually in dynamic, organic relationships, but with an over-all geometrical control to the composition.
b. Space usually treated three-dimesionally and often in vibrant, pulsating manner, reflecting the inward and outward tensions and thrusts of the forms within the space.
Origins: Cubism, Expressionism, Dada, Surrealism.
