On Saturday, February 17, 2007, at 2:00pm, there will be a Free Concert featuring Greg Abate at the Provincetown Art Association & Museum (http://www.PAAM.org) 460 Commercial Street, Provincetown. This is the second concert of the Annual Winter Jazz Series Hosted by Bart Weisman.
Greg Abate on Sax will be accompanied by John Harrison III on Piano, Chris Rathbun on Bass and Bart Weisman on Drums.

The mid-summer gem for the Boston Yacht Club is the Beringer Overnight Race to Provincetown, a big draw each year. This year, the Beringer start takes place on July 14. In 2005, more than 40 boats took part in the 45.70-nautical mile race from Marblehead Harbor to Provincetown Harbor. Not only is this a competitive race, but it also makes for quite a fun weekend, as the Boston Yacht Club throws a big BBQ party with live entertainment for the competitors at the finish line each year.

This event features a 1.4 mile swim and kayak across magnificent Provincetown Harbor. This high-energy weekend benefit is for the AIDS Support Group of Cape Cod, Helping Our Women, Cape & Island Gay Straight Alliance, Provincetown Rescue Squad, Outer Cape Ambulance and Outer Cape Health.
